For travel by vehicle , Leave the A640 half a mile south west of the M62 bridge and follow the sign to Wood Edge car park.

Public Transport
Minibuses available  Hebden Bridge to/from Huddersfield via Cragg Vale, Baitings and Scammonden. Weekend services use larger buses to accomodate picnickers.
Monday to Saturday - 4 return services daily
Sundays - 3 services, during spring and summer only.

Bus 377 Huddersfield to/from Pole Moor, which is two-thirds of a mile east of the reservoir.
Monday to Saturday - hourly

Bus 556 Halifax to Dean Head (Scammonden, west side)
Every day - 2 hourly

The bus services frequencies apply during the day between 08.30 to 17.00 hrs.

Rail services operate to the towns of Halifax, Huddersfield, Hebden Bridge, Keighley, Todmorden and Rochdale where  buses and minibuses listed above are available.
