This springs, my family and I took a week long trip to Colorado Springs! We flew in to Colorado Springs airport from Chicago and we were amazed at the view from the plane. The mountains were majestic and we couldn’t wait to see them up close and personal. Once we landed, we have hired a limo in Colorado Springs. The hotel we were staying at is called the Broadmoor and it is an fantastic resort.
The Broadmoor is oneof the most famous resorts west of the Mississippi. It offers an amazing golf course, a five star eatery and a pool that overlooks a beautiful lake. The rooms are pretty expensive and many of the nations elite will stay here during the summer months. Once we unloaded our bags, we had the Colorado Springs limousine service take us to the Garden of the Gods. This is Colorado Springs most famous toursit attraction and it is a great place to bring your camera. There are some really great rock formations that are amazing to look at and even better to photograph.
After we left the Garden of the Gods, the Colorado Springs limo company drove us to the base of Pike’s Peak. From there we took a train up to the top, which can be a little hairy if you are scared of heights. Bring your camera because the view from the peak is spectacular and you will want to have those photos to show your friends and family. When you get to the top, you will really notice a drastic temperature change.
Overall, our trip to Colorado Springs was very special and I would reccommend visiting this area to anyone planning a trip to Colorado. There is plenty to do, including skiing, fishing, hiking and much more!
