There are of course many reasons why you should seriously consider going on one of those world famous Egypt holidays. I got together with a couple of friends to go diving in Egypt just for a change to the usual drinking vacation. Egypt is actually a good place to go diving or snorkeling and this is because of the amazing wildlife it has to offer, this is where I learn to dive.
During our stay we managed to book in at a luxurious hotel with a huge swimming pool that just happened to be one of those all inclusive holidays as well. Turks have a lot of influence over the foot in Egypt that has to be said but this is because they occupied it for 300 years.
The History
Historians love the Ancient Egyptians as there is so much to take in from them, it is certainly safe to say that they have one of the most well know histories on the planet. We managed to get over to the Valley Of The Kings and if you have never had the chance to do this then I would certainly recommend it even if you are not into your history. You do not truly see Egypt until you see all of this, how the people did it is still beyond me.
Where To Next?
Well as you can tell I am bit of a history geek so next year I am off on my Cuba holidays to experience the country for the very first time. This time I am really hoping to actually learn a bit more on Cuba’s history along with the Cuban Missile Crisis and of course the revolution.
If you have always thought about visiting this very unique country then do it, wipe it off the list of things to do and just go out and do it.
