To be honest, on paper, aerobic exercises should help with your fatloss plan. It’s still exercising, right? So it sounds really nice, but the problem is that in practice it doesn’t help at all with losing fat. Cardio is not good if you want rapid weight loss.

It’s amazing how that people who do cardiovascular exercises every day for hours every week and they still have stomach fat to spare.In Britain, a study was done that included thirty five people who were over weight and not exercising.

These people worked out for three months and did it five days weekly.In spite of the effort the subjects shed just 8 lbs.

During that quarter-year period, there was a wide range of loss up to 30 lbs and gains as much as 4 lbs.

What went wrong is that the people who didn’t lose weight or gained weight were the ones who ate more to compensate for being hungrier from the workout.Several hundred cals every day wiped out any benefit from the cardio. Exercising with cardio won’t help you lose 20 pounds.

What we’ve learned then is taht cardiovascular routines make you hungrier. So you should avoid cardio if you can’t control your urge to eat.

That’s another example of how interval training is superior to cardio: there’s no correlation with additional hunger.

There’s one more way that you can help reduce fat: be sure to add resistance exercises to the intervals that you are doing. You won’t have near the problem with increased appetite when you have an effective fat loss program. So, maybe you are impressed with the person who lost thirty pounds with cardio, so you want to do it yourself.There’s going to be a challenge there because you will be tempted to do a lot more munching than you would with intervals.

You’ll have to accept the fact that those that reduce their pounds using aerobics cannot be counted as average results.There are more gainers than losers on aerobic plans, so you’re way ahead of the game if you do intervals. Feel free to talk about this in the weight loss forum.
