There are so many places in the world that people have not thought about going to and you are actually missing out by not doing these because they can be great. I am not talking about one of those spa breaks or dancing holidays here, something a bit different!
Moscow
This is actually a beautiful city to visit if you have not been there before as there is so much to do in the city. Red square is of course one of the most popular places in Moscow and despite what people believe it was not named after the Soviet Party’s colour but after an old word for beautiful that was used way back in the 17th century.
The Kremlin is a place you will certainly want to visit and it is the centre of the government within Russia, it pretty much means fortress and it is packed with landmarks along with museums and cathedrals. Not all of the buildings are of course open to the public. It is also worth paying a visit to the mummified body of Lenin, a well respected figure in Russia even to this day. If you do not know who he is then hang your head in shame.
Tokyo
There is always so much going on in this city, it can actually be a bit overwhelming. One of the things I would do here is visit Disneyland and DisneySEA to see what you think of them and then do the rest of things too. the city itself is immersed in all things technology which makes it a fantastic place to go, you can explore it with ease. Other things to look into when you are out there include the fish market and Meiji Jingu shrine.
It may be a bit different from your Torquay holidays trip but doing something like this is well worth the wait and money saved.
