For travel by vehicle , Leave the A640 half a mile south west of the M62 bridge and follow the sign to Wood Edge car park.

Scammonden Reservoir

Scammonden Reservoir is a  reservoir in West Yorkshire in England, which was created by flooding the Scammonden village, which existed in the 1960’s.   A picnic area is located at the far end of the dam.
