My name is James, and it’s been quite a while since I had been on a plane. It was a really long time ago that I last passed out, more than a decade. Now I didn’t feel as though I had a fear of flying, I have never really been scared about the prospect of flying, I just passed out. Going back on to a plane was very low on my priority list, and decided to stay at home for holidays in future, may sound sad, but obviously it wasn’t in the house. About 2 years into my marriage, it was time to face my fears and get on a plane, all that way to Egypt, a massive mission!

Just remembering how little I did actually remember of flying was scary enough… When I returned from my last holiday I passed out as well, however I have no idea why, and it was a while ago now, so I got a little scared! So there was the plane, choices had to be made, and the choice to turn around and run wasn’t there. At the beginning everything seemed fine, I had a steady heart rate, and I wasn’t sweating at all, things just seemed to be going very well. Nothing seemed to unsettle me, even the noise of the massive engines under the planes wings didn’t upset me!

This was all strange, I couldn’t understand why I passed out the previous time, and before I knew it, we were in the air. I was actually getting pretty excited about my holiday now. I couldn’t wait to get to Egypt and then get on the plane back. All of a Sudden there it was! Over the Tannoy I could hear the Captain announce we were heading into some rough turbulence. Things got really bad, the plane felt as though it was going to crack up in the sky, and there was even a light storm brewing outside. Then It was over, as quick as it had started it had finished. I remember thinking to myself, why don’t you faint now you plonker!

Egypt holidays turned out to be something I never returned to, next up was a choice between Maldives holidays or Sri Lanka holidays, both involve a aeroplane!

Trampoline Safety Video

Before purchasing a trampoline there are various things you are concerned about. There is one thing that comes to your concern before getting a trampoline and that is the safety of the trampolines. Most people wonder if trampolines are dangerous for their children and the second thing they think about is the size of the trampolines. What size trampoline should I be looking to buy?

Safety of a trampoline

The safety of the trampoline seems to be on a high, because in 2002 the total number of hospital visits due to trampoline accidents was 11,500 and in 2009 the total visit was 3,000, which is a great improvement. Fortunately the UK trampoline companies are looking to decrease these accidents to the minimum. The research also shows that most of these accidents have occured at home other than the gym or sports hall.

When buying a trampoline, what should you look for?

Always buy a trampoline which has safety nets and pads, which completely covers the frames, springs and hooks. Most trampoline accidents occur on children because they do not have the strenght to balance and control the jumps on the trampolines hance the result will be landing on rough surfaces. The safety pads should protect your children unbalanced fall.

Where would you keep the trampoline?

To be honest there several sizes of trampolines you can choose to buy from, obviously depending on the size of your garden or space where you want to use the trampoline. There are 8ft trampolines to 14ft trampolines you will be able to choose from. If you do not have a garden as you might live in a flat then you may want to go for mini trampolines or rebounders. Rebounders are generally used for exercise and fitness programs and on top of that you can use this anywhere in your house from your garage to your room. You will also be able to carry it away on holiday if you don’t want to lose your fitness regime.

Children and trampoline definitely is a risky combination but to be honest if you keep an eye on your children while using the trampolines, a lot of accidents which occur can be stopped.

Ok I have taken this holiday choice for one very good reason. Travel Agents have estimated that this could be one of the biggest holidays of 2010. However, I do believe that some of those that go there do not really know what they are walking into. So I would like to help shed some light by giving the Pros and Cons of this country as a holiday location!

It will be an expensive booking to get here, however when you arrive, you will find the cost for anything there to be ridiculously cheap? Well first and foremost it is cheap. You won’t need much money once you arrive, everything is very cheap, it’s just the initial cost. The great thing about Sri Lanka is quite simply the hotels. The chance to be treated like royalty is not something you could come across in many other countries. There is also a lovely chance for you to indulge in a safari, the majority of the time people like to explore this country, and this activity allows you to do this. If your looking for something fun and exciting then a safari through the Sri Lankan jungles and forests is a sure way to find it. There is a lot of ways for people to enjoy themselves on holiday in Sri Lanka.

This just like every other holiday in the world, has some downsides that may put you off. The weather is one of them, the rainy season comes about around October and through January, and there is no avoiding it. The rain is truly immense. Now if you don’t mind getting a bit wet (it’s worse than a bit but never mind), then there are a couple of other problems. This country is in a state of poverty, and is being constantly battled in Civil war, although it has died down a little recently. The best way to avoid this is to stick to roads and stay with a guide whenever you venture out into the wilderness. Then there is the injections that you need to prevent yourself from obtaining any nasty illnesses, now this is the worst for me!

Sri Lanka holidays have become very popular, but if you want something more relaxing and less dangerous, you should try Maldives holidays or Caribbean holidays!

If you have to go anywhere in your lifetime, you must visit India. There are so many different places in India that need to be visited that it would take about 6 months to visit every part and spend a couple of days there. However the most influential parts of India are probably Mumbai and Delhi.

India brings us some of the most incredible food, this is then distributed across the world, but tastes nothing like it does, when it’s made fresh in the country it came from. Cricket and the food that you can find in Mumbai has been critically acclaimed, with people dedicating much time to write about it. You would be surprised at how advanced Mumbai really is, with some amazing technological advancements over the past two decades. It has become a clean and quite efficient country with quite a strong economic hold. Because of the improvements in Mumbai India has seen some great rises in tourists.

Delhi is a place of great religious bearing and has the second largest populous in India. Delhi has become a major cultural, political and commercial city of the world, situated on some key trade routes. Delhi as well as Mumbai has greatly increased in its technological advancement, with a stable transport system and some very luxurious hotels. New Delhi is the capital of India, and it is quite a prospering capital too. India may be the place for great food, but it’s also the place for people with great intelligence as well. The most important thing for tourists is the wide range of activities available, things such as hiking, visiting museums, going to the tiger Zoo’s and being driven around in some crazy rickshaws.

If you are interested in maybe trying something else instead of India, I recommened Egypt for great Luxury holidays, Hurghada holidays have really taken off, and so have the Sharm El Sheikh holidays, now becoming the number 1 holiday in Egypt!

It is not unusual to have board shorts donned almost everywhere. This was not so at first, since the beach was the single area where you would observe them being worn by surfers or wake boarders. These apparel were considered as convenient and crucial attire due to having the capacity to to dry fast and long lasting regardless sustained water wear and erosion.

But, board shorts manufacturers took the first step to manufacture them a lot more stylish so as to raise sales from the surfer market. This caught the attention of various other beach visitors and beyond, because many would like to start looking great too when stepping outdoors. They addionally valued the ease and high level of comfort furnished by the clothes and it soon caught on globally.

It is difficult now not to see someone in a pair of boardshorts everywhere. They are seen on joggers, casual shoppers, people at picnics and of course, at the beach where it is an essential fashion attire. Women’s board shorts are equally popular as that of the other sex. It is difficult to think of something else that might rival it in areas of functionality, design and bang for your buck.

So what can one be involved in with a pair of board shorts? Without thinking too hard, it was first created for beach activities. Activities such as swimming, surfing, wakeboarding and suntanning are perfect in a pair of boardshorts as they provide comfort and flexibility with nothing to concern the wearer.

We often go for a swim in the pool wearing a simple pair of trunks or for women, the one or two piece swimsuit. The board short is fast becoming the top choice for swimming attire by many people. The board short can be worn with much ease, offer great comfort in the form of loose fitting attire, while still providing top quality performance for water-based activities.

Anyone can participate in water based activities with a pair of board shorts. They can also be worn when working in environments that are based in water. Made with technologically advanced material, they can provide adaptability and flexibility that promotes better workplace performance compared to the normal attire one might be more familiar with.

Surf shorts are not just to be used for activities in water. Step out in a pair for some time out in sunny weather, be it a pair of regular or plus size board shorts. Visit the malls in simple comfort and look good at the same time when wearing one. You can also go to the library and enjoy a more comfortable reading trip wearing board shorts.

Being comfortable at home is something most of us would like to enjoy. The situation has not been helped by global warming which has resulted in us having warmer climates with greater regularity. Style does not have to be sacrificed totally for comfort though when one wears board shorts at home.

Thomas Cook has now started to utilize the abilities of Celebs. By using them in the same way as every other business on the planet would, by turning them into Advert monkeys. However Thomas Cook has been a little different in the way they have done this. This tour operator has been largely dedicated to its UK customers, so used a celebrity loved by all in the UK. If someone were to ask anyone who Jamie Redknapp was they would probably know straight away. His Wife Louise is now on a judging panel for a dance contest, viewed by millions. These two are known very well by the UK!

Why is this advert such a success. These two celebrities are easy for the public to relate too. They embark on a holiday with Thomas Cook and are seen relaxing on the beach, going for a meal, nothing to fancy. Many people will see these celebrities travelling here, and think that for a week or so they could also live like a celebrity. With the five million pounds they got from this advert do you think that the Redknapp’s would be staying in the cheaper resorts they advertise.

Since they have been in the Nintendo Wii adverts they are loved by the whole public. This couple have worked well together, and do very well together. Thomas Cook is the longest running Tour Operator in the UK, so they are a very respected and trusted Tour Operator. This also very successful business seems to have captured a perfect partnership with the Redknapp’s.

However, why not take a different view on this. Now really do we expect to see celebrities in the same buildings as us more common people, no we don’t. Surely these two are lying to us about the hotel they are really staying at? Somehow I do not think that this holiday is going to be all that great.

Sharm El Sheikh Holidays are a favourite of the Celebrity demographic, showered in luxury hotels, however saying that Egypt holidays have been popular with the entire country. So is Thomas Cook wrong to be employing role models in their adverts, of course not, I have been on Hurghada holidays, what fun it was, no celebrities spotted though!

Ok so your prepped for your holiday in the great unknown, with tour guide ready. So what is there that should really concern you if you embark on one of those safaris in Sri Lanka?

Many people look forward to seeing an Elephant on safari. Elephants can be domesticated but they can even become extremely deadly, the Asiatic and African elephants both go through a random phase of frenzy called Musth, which literally translated means “Mad”.

There are some animals that you will naturally have a fear of, such as the Leopard. Leopards are extremely fast, outrunning it is impossible, not to mention they have big teeth and big claws. If you see one of the animals coming towards you slowly, then stand still, don’t run! There are only a small number of these beasts in Sri Lanka, so finding one will be tricky any way.

Although this animal is not particularly dangerous, if you come across one, no sudden movements. This mammal is extremely powerful, not to mention quite large, the Sambar Deer. They are generally very calm and do not attack normally unless they feel threatened. When they all get on the move, each one of these weighing around 250 kilos, not a good idea to stand in front of them.

These last Two are reptiles, and they are big ones. This is probably the easiest animal to annoy and aggravate, the Swamp Crocodile is a particularly nasty animal. Keep your your distance as much as possible from this one, they are deceptively fast on land.

When i say lizard, you probably won’t think much of it, read on. This lizard is best known as a Monitor Lizard, and is a deadly creature about 2 and a half metres in length. Make sure you avoid this animal!

Still fancy Sri lanka holidays, in all realities, these animals are never going to become a problem on your vacation. If you want something more relaxing maybe you should try Luxury holidays, how about Dubai holidays?

Right People always ask, what should I try when I am on holiday? Is there anywhere that i must go? Now although all of these things can help you to enjoy your holiday, what should you avoid doing on these holidays? So Thailand is this example, here are the top 6 things not to do when you go on holiday to Thailand!

This country is extremely religious, Buddhists to be precise, make sure that you don’t make any funny remarks. Do your best NOT to damage any of Buddha’s figures, you can look, but try to avoid touching. Just because you were a vandal back home you won’t get away with it here, these statues are considered sacred projections of their god!

Thailand may have gathered a reputation for being a bit seedy in some districts, but during the day, please refrain from removing clothing, it is extremely disrespectful. Women, sorry but you will have to keep clothes on at night as well, Men you may remove a shirt at night if you must in public.

Bangkok is probably the only place in Thailand where you can get away with everything listed here, but that is because of its westernisation, however there are some things I would make sure of! Mainly for the younger generations, be vigilant with your money, it can and will go walkies very fast, even when you go into a lap dance bar. Don’t let yourself down by forgetting to bring protection, be safe, you never know what you will do after a bunch of drinks!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO DRUGS. Make sure that you heed this warning, a long jail sentence or even worse a possible death sentence, depending on how hard the drug!

Definitely do not stay to long! If you are no longer under a Visa to stay in this country, then make sure you leave, there are some cases where you could be crammed in a prison cell with more than 50 other prisoners, so keep your timeline in mind!

Don’t just fall for one girl straight away and give her your everything. This is not a very nice thing to say, but the only problem is that if your bank details go missing so will your money!

Asia vacations are on the rise, Thailand holidays have really kicked off, but other famous ones are; Maldives holidays and Sri Lanka holidays!

Considering your next holiday, and could it be the Caribbean that you are dwelling over? Well how about I am just as helpful as those others that offer places you should visit, I will tell you where not to go, it is just as important!

Trinidad is somewhere I would seriously recommend steering clear of. Take control of the ship that is heading there and turn around! Tourists are in a massive amount of trouble if they get onto the wrong side of Trinidad, with tourist deaths being very high. Some of the people care nothing about you, all they want and need is your money and goods.

Haiti is another place similar to Trinidad. Just like Trinidad Haiti is quite dangerous as well, some people in this country consider stealing as entrepreneurial, not a country that you want to take a lot of money too!

Try your best to avoid Puerto Rico, now I am not suggesting that there is something wrong here, its just not the best of all the Caribbean Islands, you could find yourself very disappointed with the holiday that you have received!

Bermuda, but only if you are superstitious. Otherwise Bermuda can be very nice is some places. Bermuda is actually made of many islands, just make sure that you go to mainland Bermuda otherwise you could have a very lonely and boring holiday!

If you only have a small amount of cash to add to your holiday, then definitely scrub Jamaica off the list, it is almost as dangerous as Trinidad. Unless you can get to a private hotel and beach, then I would travel to a different island insead.

There are so many fantastic islands to be recommended, St lucia holidays are relaxing and luxurious, not to mention modest in price, Barbados holidays are another one but for the younger generation, and finally you can try out Cuba holidays, which have improved greatly.
